What is a skort?
In principle, a skort is nothing more than a skirt with shorts sewn into it. Strictly speaking, the term comes from the English language and is made up of the words shorts (shorts) and skirt. Originally, the garment was made from functional fabrics and was particularly popular with golfers and tennis players.
However, modern skorts such as the Assthetic® skort are now made from everyday materials such as faux leather and have also become a popular fashion piece off the sports field. Find out why in the next section.

Isn't it nice to walk around in short clothes on warm days? A skirt is airy and elegant, but also tends to ride up and reveal too much. You constantly have to make sure that everything is covered. Another big disadvantage of skirts: they usually lack pockets and there is no way to store small items without a handbag.
This is where the Assthetic® skort comes into play: thanks to the sewn-in shorts under the skirt, which are barely noticeable when worn, slip flashes when cycling, bending down, sitting down or getting out of the car are a thing of the past. There is also a small pocket on the right-hand side where you can easily store small items such as money, keys or handkerchiefs.

Shoes
The Assthetic® skort can be perfectly combined with all types of high shoes such as high heels, ankle
boots or pumps. If you prefer to show a little less skin or it's fresher outside
, it's best to go for overknee boots. These trendy shoes keep you warm and also make your legs look longer. But you can't go wrong with flat shoes such as sneakers or sandals either.
Tops
When it's warmer outside, tops can be a little more revealing and airy. Crop tops, basic T-shirts or see-through silk blouses, for example, can be perfectly combined with the Assthetic® skort for a sexy, bold look. A nice blazer or trench coat on top will make the whole look a little more elegant and evening-ready. And in case you just can't get enough of (faux) leather - no problem either. When the temperatures drop, it's best to rely on tops such as (oversized) sweaters and embroidered jackets. They keep you warm and create a great contrast to the otherwise rather summery skort.
Tights
For serious occasions or colder temperatures, tights with a skort are almost a must. If it's particularly icy outside, it's best to go for the lined thermal version. If you want your legs to look as natural as possible, we generally recommend skin-colored tights. Otherwise, classic colors such as black or brown are ideal.
